One of the most stressful and meaningful journey I’ve experienced was my journey to the Art Friend.
It’s stressful because of the weather.
As July being one of the hottest month of the year, it just makes everything more suffocating.
Beside that, the walk to Art Friend from school is long and tiring under such terrible weather conditions.
Bugis is located within the town area, thus the streets are always filled with people, it adds on to my negativity.
As if God heard my prayers, on my way to Art Friend, the clouds were dark and gloomy. Without an umbrella with me and I was far from any shelter or Art Friend, my journey just got worse.
I sped up, wishing to reach my destination as soon as possible, and the first thing that came into my sight, just add on to my misery.
The ATM machine simply reminds me just how broke I am.
Art Friend is huge and narrow at certain place, it takes a lot of time finding the materials I need, especially when I'm not familiar with the area. Moreover the staffs are always busy and unable to help me. This makes everything more frustrating than it already is!
Through this journey, I finally think of myself as an art student.
After spending so much money, I feel the need to get myself a part time job, as I can't possibly asked my parents for extra money.
Also, I learnt to treasure my art materials and not waste any.
